The Trustees meet the second Wednesday of each month in the township office (located in Roselawn) at 7:30 PM unless noted differently. Harrison Township Services Department will be putting up or replacing a total of 35 signs that will define the borders of the township. There are three Trustees and a Fiscal Officer that oversees the entire township. In the summer/mowing season (April 1st - November 1st), part-time employees are hired/rehired. There are three villages in the township Lewisburg, Verona, & West Sonora, with Lewisburg being the largest. The 2000 census found 4,601 people live in the township. It is bounded on the north and east by Dark and Montgomery counties, while to the south and west lie the sister townships of Twin and Monroe. Harrison Township founded in 1815 is situated in the northeastern corner of the county and is known as township seven of range three.
